Tea tree (M. alternifolia) oil and KolorXtract (P.colorata) are the two active ingredients. They are derived from traditional healing plants grown in Australia and New Zealand. The base of the cream is made from apricot kernel oil and aloe vera, which add their soothing and moisturising properties. It does not contain mineral oil.
Microbial life (flora) on the skin sometimes gets out of balance, especially in our warm, moist areas. This can cause localized rashes and itchiness. Kolorex Cream's unique combination of plant extracts has been scientifically designed to help maintain a healthy, balanced skin flora. Kolorex Cream has been found to be particulary effective against fungal rashes and itches such as athletes foot, jock itch and vaginal yeast infection. It is also effective against the bacteria Gardnerella, one of the most common causes of vaginitis after Candida Albicans.
Apply the cream several times daily to the area. An applicator or tampon covered in cream can be used for vaginal coverage. If there is no improvement within a week, seek the advice of a health professional.
The extracts in the cream can cause a sense of temporary heat upon application. This can be quite sharp if applied to sensitive, damaged tissue. The plant oils in Kolorex Cream may weaken condoms and diaphragms.
KolorXtract (Pseudowintera colorata extract) - there is no record of toxicity from oral ingestion or topical application of Horopito leaves.
A study by Huntingdon Life Sciences in the U.K. supported the safe profile of Horopito (Pseudowintera colorata) leaves.
Tea Tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) - irritation of the skin occurs rarely in sensitive individuals.
