Candida-Safe Basilmintcucumber Limeade

Basil is an excellent source of vitamin K and a very good source of iron, calcium and vitamin A. In addition, basil is a good source of dietary fiber, manganese, magnesium, vitamin C and potassium.

Here’s a juice recipe I came up with the other day. I used my vitamix and it tasted great.

1/2 cup basil
1/2 cup cucumber
1/2 lime
5 spearmint leaves
1/2 cup purified water
2 drops NuNaturals vanilla stevia *(I used a dropper full – sweeten to taste)
A couple ice cubes**

Drop everything in blender. Blend until smooth. Roughly 30-40 sec. 

**I used four ice-cubes to make it extra frosty.
